Position title
Maintenance Technician
Description
Perform repairs that include Carpentry, Electrical, Heating, Plumbing, Concrete, HVAC and other home renovations.
Human Resources Office Hours are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday-Friday

Responsibilities
- Complete work orders as assigned
- Assist in completing move in/out , quarterly and annual inspections of homes assigned.
- Assist with carpentry, plumbing, trusses, shingles, roofs, and hang sheetrock
- Paint and trim interior and exterior walls
- Assist with installing cabinets
- Read blueprints
- Maintain daily log of ALL activities and assigned jobs
- Submit completed work orders to Supervisor on a weekly basis
- Maintain material list needed for assigned jobs/work orders
- wear protective equipment on all work assignments in construction areas
- Assist in appliance replacement and installation in homes
- Assist with home renovations; carpentry; drywall, plumbing, floors, sinks, toilets and roof repairs
- On call and work after hour in case of emergencies
- Work in adverse weather conditions
- Performs additional duties assigned commensurate to the grade level assigned
Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, heating, HVAC and cabinet-making
- Ability to use carpentry tools and equipment
- Ability to work well with others as a team.
- Ability to lift heavy; 50 lbs or more, and work in adverse weather conditions
- Able to work on Holidays and weekends if required
Education
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate (ATTACH COPY)
- One or Two (1-2) Years of Experience in Carpentry and Renovation
Lisence and Certificates:
- Must posses a valid state drivers license (ATTACH COPY)
- Must be able to clear SAMBA Check and obtain a Nations Drivers Permit
- Certificates related to position (ATTACH COPY)
